Raising Real Men Giveaway!

Okay, so a couple of hours ago, I posted a review for Raising Real Men by Hal and Melanie Young.  Now, I get to give away some books!  This is actually two separate give-aways!
  1. An audiobook, available to US residents only
  2. An ebook, available to anyone
So, when you enter, please let me know if you are not eligible for the hard-copy giveaway.  I'll be putting entries into a spreadsheet, and drawing for the audiobook first, eliminating that person and adding all international entries, then drawing for the ebook.  (Of course, I would love to own the ebook too... there were lots of places in the audiobook where I wished I had the text so I could quote it!  But I want two different winners!)

There are a few things you can do to enter:
  • Make a comment about the book, or what you most want to learn about raising boys, or something else relevant on my review post.  I want to be able to have a conversation.  Then come back here and tell me you commented there.  If you had already commented, tell me that too.
  • Tell me whether you'd rather own the book, the audio book, or the ebook.  Or are you more of a Mom and Dad Special kind of person?  Why do you want this book?
  • Follow me with Google Friend Connect or Networked Blogs, or like me on Facebook.  One comment, but list each way that you do.
  • Like Raising Real Men on Facebook.  Leave them a comment while you're at it.  Then post here to tell me you did it.
  • Post a link to my review on Facebook, your blog... wherever.   Or post a link to my giveaway.  Both gets you two entries, but you only need to leave one comment.
Entries will stay open through midnight Sunday night, MST.  That's January 16.  I'll draw either that night, or in the morning.  I'll email the winners, assuming I can figure out an email address.  If I do not hear from the winners, I reserve the right to draw a new one.

  2. I think I would prefer the.. hmm. I think the actual book. I love audiobooks, too, but I think, as you mentioned, I would revisit it, and might mark it up a bit.

  7. I already have the book, but would love the audio-book! Sometimes I don't have time to read, but I have a CD player in my kitchen. I can listen while I work.

  11. I think I'd rather own the book (easier to refer back to), though it might be nice if my oldest boy could listen to it with me :-) I guess the means the Mom and Dad special, lol.

  19. I really love "real books" but for time sake I'm thinking I'd LOVE to have the audio book. I'm with you, though, it's nice to be able to go back and revisit particular parts or be able to mark and quote. I do have an iTouch, so the ebook wouldn't be bad either.

  23. Hi Debra, I follow you here as Jungle Mama, I commented on the review post as Jen's Busy Days and I already like/am friends with RRM on Facebook. Of course being in Australia I would prefer the E-book but may need to buy it to scribble in. I date my scribbles in good books, amazing what still applies a decade later. lol

Now, what else do I need to do? Oh that's right, take care of my family.

    Best wishes

  24. I would love the "real" book just because of the usefulness of it. However, I am not opposed to the audio book (especially if it read by the author) or the ebook (which I can print out and use that way.)

It wasn't you hanging out at the foot of my driveway in a UPS truck last night, was it? LOL...

  42. I would love the eBook of this! I have an 18 month old son and zero experience with boys other than being married to one. But even that leaves me baffled most days! I'm also a homeschooling mom to a 7yo girl.
