From the publisher:
Rebecca St. James charts yet another new course with I Will Praise You, a new collection of worship songs she terms “ her most personal recording to date.” From the opening notes of track one, listeners are offered a welcoming connection with Rebecca’s recognizably authentic vocal warmth and delivery. More than anything, I Will Praise You represents the latest steps in Rebecca’s life long journey towards the presence of God.Rebecca is holding a Listening Party, where you can go preview the CD. And here you can watch her explain one of the songs on this album, Shine Your Glory Down.
My thoughts: Oh, I simply love this CD! The music is amazing, as I would expect from Rebecca St. James. And the second song, You Never Let Go, reminds me of friend and her daughter, a child I've been praying for over the last five and a half years. So owning the song is great.
My favorite aspect, though, is in the CD insert. There is a Bible reference and a short statement about each of the songs. Reading those as I listened made the songs even more meaningful.
The CD is being released on Tuesday... but if you want to win one, I have the opportunity to host a giveaway. To enter, you must make a comment on this post telling me why you would like to win this CD.
