Still Laughing After All These Tears {a Family Christian review and giveaway!}

Laughter is the best medicine.

I totally believe that.

Chonda Pierce: Still Laughing After All These Tears - Ultimate Fan Collection has been great medicine for me here lately.

When Family Christian gave me this opportunity, I actually started crying.  It has been a stressful few months here, and just the idea of something like this -- something I wouldn't purchase for myself -- that is really for ME, well, it made me cry.

This is a collection of seven of Chonda Pierce's bestselling DVDs, with some fun extras.  One thing I really loved is that each DVD includes a recent interview with Chonda where she talks about that particular show.  It really made watching the comedy routine even more fun.  The backstories behind these earlier shows were fabulous.

The disks include:
  • Have I Got a Story For You
  • Be Afraid, Be Very Afraid
  • A Piece of My Mind
  • Stayin' Alive
  • This Ain't Prettyville
  • Did I Say That Out Loud?
  • I'm Kind of a Big Deal
What I love about watching Chonda Pierce is that I know it will be clean entertainment, and it isn't just a random string of jokes and funny stories.  Chonda is making a point, pointing towards Jesus.

But she is also making me laugh.

And it is okay if my kids walk in and overhear it.

Sounds perfect to me.

Right now, this set is just under $30, which is a bargain.  That's about $4 per DVD.

I have a copy of this amazing set to give away!  US only please.

I love comedy, especially if it is creative and imaginative (and clean). :D

I have not heard of her, but we love comedy here and would enjoy it.

Thanks for hosting!

Love you!

Emily listens to Chonda on Spotify. She loves her humor about the everyday things as well as her passionate faith in God. If we won, we would all get to enjoy her great humor together.

I've seen Chonda Pierce on video but never live - she is so funny! Y'know who else makes me laugh - Tim Hawkins. He is hilarious!

I absolutely love Chonda! She is a sweetheart. I met her a little bit back. I worked at one of her shows for Compassion International and she asked that we come back stage to talk to her a little before she went on. She couldn't have been any nicer. I also got a ticket to attend a year later by one of the guys who works with her when she was touring with Jason Crabb. The people she surrounds herself with are amazing as well. Her movie, Laughing in the Darkness was amazing.

I've heard of Chonda Pierce before but never seen anything she's done. I need a good laugh (or hundred) this week.

Chonda has such a way of taking her heart break and just where life finds her to bring laughter to others' hearts. What would the world be like if we were able to all have such a beautiful gift.

My husband makes me laugh. He's still the same silly, crazy guy I fell in love with, just slightly more mature. ;)

Years ago we got to hear Chonda Pierce at a conference. I'd love to watch these DVDs with my family.

I saw Chondra Pierce at a Women of Faith conference, I think. I've listened to one of her books on tape, too. She is really funny.
