Bible in 90 Days Challenge, post
regarding days 64-70. Here's
last week's check in.
We
were traveling, and I did not keep very good track of what we did
when. Basically, we listened to Lamentations and Ezekiel this week though. I had forgotten how much fun Ezekiel is with younger listeners. Yikes.
So we are behind. I refuse to feel guilty about it though (either last week or this week), as I decided that the kids see their grandparents so infrequently that they NEED to spend time with relationships and we can catch up (or finish a couple of days "late") later.
I sat down and did the math, and we have just over 25 hours of listening left. Over 20 days, that means at least 75 minutes a day gets us within minutes of finishing on time... which is only an extra 8 minutes a day... or we can continue at 67 minutes a day and finish two days late.
Of course, we came home to a filthy kitchen, so maybe we'll listen a little extra and get ourselves back on track... because really, we're only two days behind...
Of course, the kids are going to be camping this weekend, so we won't be able to listen on Saturday. Ugh... I'll figure something out.

Just keep plugging away! It's hard with all that goes on at this time of year...fall is super duper busy for us.
Well, we might do some catching up today. Listened to 8 chapters of Daniel, and am thinking we'll listen at least one way with scouts tonight, so that will give us at least 1.5 hours today. I know past Daniel, there are a ton of little books... so I'm hoping that polishing off books will motivate us to move a little more quickly too. :)
