My travels

A friend of mine posted something on her blog about the states she has visited.  I decided I had to get a map colored in as well...

visited 42 states (84%)
Create your own visited map of The United States

Isn't that fun?  I desperately want to hit the Northwest to visit a really good friend (you know who you are!).  And I've always wanted to make a trip through the South.  I really wanted to do it when we were learning about the mid 1800's.  Maybe next go-around.

Alaska and Hawaii.  Oh, I'd love to do that someday too.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! :) Wow, you have been to so many states! That's amazing, how wonderful it must be to have seen that much of our beautiful country! We've visited and lived in several, but nearly as much as you have. I hope you get to all of them in your lifetime!

Thanks for stopping by here too! :) Yeah, we used to do a lot of road trips when I was growing up. So what is really great, is that most of those states I've been in multiple times. There are only a few up there that I've only been to once.

Now, the map my kids could make? Uhh, not so red. I need to work on that.

Thanks for you comment on All About Spelling. I have yet to start it with my 7 year old. Hopefully after Christmas break. No point in starting with one week left of school....

I love this map too, and made one myself. I haven't posted it yet. Mine looks MUCH different than yours.

Wouldn't you know it, I found a typo in my map post too! Whenever you comment, I find a typo in my post. So please keep commenting so I can fix all my mistakes! lol

BTW, NC is correct, but Alabama is not :)
