Gratitude Challenge: November 1

A great friend of mine is hosting a Gratitude Challenge for the month of November.  I plan to participate.  Hopefully every single day.

I make no promises to be thought-provoking or profound.  Some of these may even be short <gasp>.  Right now, though, I need to be making a serious effort to look for all the amazing blessings I do have, and not focus on the negative.

So today --  I am thankful for a beautiful, warm, sunny day.  A day that was perfect for the kids to be playing outside.  A day where we could walk around barefoot.  A day where I remember some of the things I love about living where I do...

Barefoot, wearing shorts today.  Winter Weather Watch tomorrow.  And back near 60 on Friday.

I decided I needed 30 days of giving thanks for homeschool -- Today I'm thankful for more time to enjoy my kids. :)

Barefoot?! Yippee. Except all always get after my kids to put on their shoes 'cause their feet get so dirty outside. You are such a sweet mommy. :)

That is such a great thing to be able to be thankful for, this time of year. I love the sunny days though cold here, I know the sun will disappear behind the clouds all too soon.
