Reading Aloud Challenge: November 3

Okay, how in the world did it get to be November?

Yikes.

So, I did visit everyone last week and I commented where I could.  I was having some sort of wacky browser issue though, and never did succeed in commenting on a couple.  If that continues this week, I'll try firing up the PC and see if I can do it there.

We went off on a totally different tangent and didn't do much of anything for reading aloud.  I posted a couple reviews of titles I read aloud earlier...

I reviewed Heaven is for Real for Kids earlier today.  We read through it a couple of times this week.

I also read The Person I Marry again, and reviewed that yesterday.

Otherwise, we are barely making progress in Peace Child (just me & Connor), and we did finish off the CD we were on for The Railway Children.

I've totally been a slug.

Plans for this coming week? Finish The Railway Children.  Continue Peace Child with Connor.  With William and Thomas (and probably the little two), I'll be starting Hittite Warrior.  And we'll probably start Heidi for the little two.  Yeah.  Word for word what I said last week.

How did your week go?  Sign the linky to link up your reading aloud post and I'll come visit your post and I will figure out how to comment.

To see my first post when this turned into a linky thing, check here.

Hey everyone needs a break now and then! I'm enjoying a down week with only a few reviews to work on.

We ended up watching The Railway Children, it was good. And then I dug around on my bookshelves and found I already had the book and it was in my "books I want to read aloud" pile. Looking forward to it.

Not as much reading as normal due to our vacation. There's something to be said for not completely giving up on the book that we're halfway through. :)

I'll link up tomorrow if that's okay?

I combined my Gratitude Challenge post with my Read Aloud Challenge post. Maybe I'll do better next week.
