Gratitude Challenge: Day Six

A good friend of mine, Brenda at Garden of Learning, put together a Gratitude Challenge.  The idea is to post for every day in November about something you are thankful for.So -- Day Six  --

I'm suffering from a bit of an attitude problem today.  A long day, I didn't really accomplish things I wanted to, and I'm tired.

So today, I had to remind myself that I am incredibly grateful for the health of my children.  I am thankful that they have voices to raise, I'm thankful they have energy to jump and run.  I am grateful for their curiosity about everything.  Really.  I am.

I always love your honesty. And yes, their health is a blessing even when it's loud. I remind myself often that even though some days last forever, the years fly by. It's going to be awfully quiet here one day, and I'll be wishing for a good light saber battle in my living room.

Debra, we all have days in which we find our attitudes a little . . . lagging. Yes, when we have a day like that, being thankful for our healthy, energetic children is just what we need to do! Thanks for that reminder. :)
